Mona Vale to NarrabeenTrack
This track runs from the southern end of Mona Vale Beach to North Narrabeen, offering stunning ocean views along clifftop paths and passages over three headlands: Warriewood, Turimetta, and Narrabeen.
The mostly paved route is almost 3 kilometres one way and combines boardwalks, bush tracks, and stairs, with some challenging sections, particularly steep staircases at some points.
Directions
- Start your walk at Robert Dunn Reserve on the southern headland of Mona Vale Beach.
- From the reserve, pick up the signed coastal track and head south along the clifftop path, passing open grassed areas and several lookout points with stunning ocean views.
- Continue as the path descends via timber stairs to Warriewood Beach.
- Cross the beach and rejoin the coastal track at the southern end, where signs point toward Turimetta Headland.
- The trail then climbs onto Turimetta Headland via a series of stairs and a well marked trail.
- Stay on the path as you traverse Turimetta Headland. After descending, pass Turimetta Beach before climbing onto Narrabeen Headland.

- Follow the headland path to a lookout with panoramic views over Narrabeen Lagoon.
- From there, continue walking a little further and you will find the stairs that lead down to the rockpool and the lagoon entrance.
